Agent-Reach vs last30days-skill

One CLI gives agents read/search access to Twitter, Reddit, YouTube, GitHub, Bilibili and XiaoHongShu with zero API fees — multi-backend routing the maintainers repair when platforms break. — versus — The /last30days skill: researches any topic across Reddit, X, YouTube, HN, TikTok and Polymarket in parallel, scores by real engagement, and synthesizes one grounded brief. 50+ agent hosts.

The curated verdict

Both feed agents fresh social-platform signal. last30days is a one-shot research skill that searches Reddit/X/YouTube and synthesizes a scored brief; Agent-Reach is permanent plumbing — installed CLI access with maintained backends the agent composes however it likes.

Agent-Reach — the curator's take

Solves the ugly part of giving agents social-platform eyes: not the scraping code, but keeping it alive. Each platform routes through primary+fallback backends the maintainers swap when one gets blocked (yt-dlp died on Bilibili → bili-cli, zero user action), and `agent-reach doctor` diagnoses what's broken locally. Cookies stay on your machine; works with any CLI-capable agent. Uniquely strong China coverage (Bilibili, XiaoHongShu) — docs are Chinese-first, which is where its 64k stars live. NOT a generic crawler: for arbitrary websites use crawl4ai; this is for walled-garden platforms.

last30days-skill — the curator's take

A search engine scored by upvotes, likes and prediction-market money instead of editors — and the insight that made it #1 trending: no single AI can search all these walled gardens, but YOUR agent with YOUR keys can. Reddit, HN, Polymarket and GitHub work with zero config; a 30-second wizard unlocks X, YouTube, TikTok, arXiv. Installs into Claude Code via marketplace or 50+ hosts via npx skills. NOT neutral research: engagement-weighted synthesis inherits every platform's biases and hype cycles — it tells you what people are excited about, which is not the same as what's true. BYO keys means BYO rate limits and ToS exposure on X/TikTok.
