Curator's take

The serious self-hosted choice for generative imagery: broader model support than the original WebUI it forked from, aggressive hardware coverage (CUDA/ROCm/Intel/Apple), and a real server API that makes it automatable infrastructure rather than a toy. When NOT: if your pipeline is node-graph-shaped, ComfyUI's ecosystem is deeper; and this enters the map without curated edges — it's model infrastructure like ollama, not an agent-stack tool, so pair it yourself for now.
